Citizens Advice Fareham
The Charity for Your Community
We are an independent charity and are here to help you with:

- no-one has to pay for any service we provide

CONFIDENTIAL - we don't pass on anything a client tells us - not even the fact that they've visited us - without the client's permission

INDEPENDENT - we act in the interests of our clients, without any influence from outside agencies

IMPARTIAL - we don't judge or make assumptions about our clients.  We are here for everyone and everyone is treated equally

INFORMATION AND ADVICE - Citizens Advice Fareham is committed to equal opportunities and aims to provide a service that meets the needs of all people regardless of race, gender, sexuality or disability.

For general advice and information on a range of subjects explained in a way you can understand and to help you decide what you want to do next

Practical help  We can give practical help with filling in forms or negotiating on your behalf

Specialist Support In some cases we can arrange a short free interview with a solicitor if we can't sort out your problem

We have national and local information systems covering a wide range of subjects

Research and Campaign - We exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services, both locally and nationally.  Campaigning locally and nationally to get government and large organisations to change their practices.

Thanks received from the Mayor of Fareham

On Tuesday 16th of August, Citizens Advice Fareham's volunteers were invited to attend tea with the Mayor and Mayors Consort within the Mayors Parlour. Our volunteer advisers and trustees had a lovely time being treated to tea, juice, cakes and conversation.

Mayor Connie Hockley has been so happy with the Citizens Advice service, she wanted to thank them personally for all the work they put into helping the community of Fareham.
